About the Board
Southcentral Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors. The board consists of up to nine members who are appointed by the Cook Inlet Region, Inc. Board of Directors. Through the lens of customer-ownership, the SCF Board of Directors is responsible for policy making, oversight, selection of CEO, decision making, and fiduciary duties. Directors must always act in the best interest of the stakeholders.
SCF is a regional nonprofit healthcare organization operating under the Tribal Authority of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (“CIRI”) pursuant to P.L. 93-638, the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act.
