McGrath Regional Health Center
McGrath Regional Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center operated by Southcentral Foundation in partnership with the McGrath Native Village Council. The clinic offers high-quality medical and behavioral services and promotes family wellness and shared responsibility in the community. Services are available for all visitors and residents of McGrath, Medfra, Nikolai, Takotna, and Telida, regardless of Indian Health Service status or ability to pay for services. The 6,100-square-foot facility, named the Rose Winkleman Building, honors a local woman who served the community as a health aide for more than 40 years. McGrath is 220 miles northwest of Anchorage — near the confluence of the Kuskokwim and Takotna rivers.

Sliding Discount Fee
Sliding Fee Discount fee scale is a method for providing reduced fees based on a household’s size and income. To be eligible, the application must be completed every year or with any change in household income or size. If a customer-owner or community member has health care insurance, the insurance company will be billed. Customer-owners who are Indian Health Service beneficiaries may have their balance for services received covered by IHS.
