National Nutrition Month
Did you know customer-owners have access to registered dietitians at regularly scheduled appointments?
In celebration of National Nutrition Month, we encourage you to ask about what a dietitian can do for you at your next primary care appointment. Dietitians are part of your integrated care team. They hold a variety of credentials with certifications in lactation, diabetes, pediatrics, integrative and functional nutrition, enteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition, and intuitive eating. SCF dietitians are here to help you meet your personal nutrition and lifestyle goals.
Schedule an appointment through MyHealth or by contacting your integrated care team.

Brain Injury Awareness Month
March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. It’s important to know necessary steps to prevent brain injury in Alaska all year round. Protect yourself and those around you with basic safety measures such as wearing helmets while riding ATVs, like four-wheelers or snow machines. Before you embark on your next adventure, take a moment to assess the risks and take preventative measures to protect yourself, and be sure to spread the word about the importance of injury prevention.
To learn more about injury prevention and treatment, contact your integrated care team. For emergencies, please call 911.
